Holy Joe & Holy Hannah! What a wild ride!

Did Lily believe that Caesar spoke or not, I mean before he actually talked to Will and her? Was she really still thinking of him as just another animal like everyone else, even Will?

But she's already seen the footage of Dodge dying in the last chapter, right? So why shew her out of the room?

The most surprising thing for me was her Mom, though. Please don't take this the wrong way, but wow, what a neglectful Mom she was! I hate to say that, and I didn't really see her that way until now, but you don't just sit back and help your nine-year-old deaf kid, heck deaf doesn't matter, rush in to the middle of an ape revolt if you can help it!

Now that that is over with, and I hope you're still speaking to me after all that, I gotta say OMG, you made me cry with your scenes with Will and her and Caesar! The gorilla that snatched her up, is that Luca? I figured it was him 'cuz he grabbed her but made no real moves to hurt her. Sounds like Luca.

So, what was Lily gonna say to Caesar to try and get him home again? I'm dying to know.

But their goodbye was so darn touching!

Wow Full of surprises! And, uh, say what? When did Rodney learn sign? Was this like an extra on the movie DVD? I almost never look at those so maybe I missed something. But why didn't he tell them about Caesar speaking, not that they'd believe him, I guess.

But Lily's Mom isn't really gonna just let her run in to the heart of this violent chaos, is she? She's deaf, and she's nine for heaven sake.

Aw, that darling sweet orangutan! I was hoping she'd interact with him. When did Maurice get the second sight? Wouldn't surprise me if he had it since he knows just about everything. But what I mean is why did he say what he did to Lily or was he just talking about them all going away and Lily not seeing Caesar ever again?

Never understood why so many fans were obsessed with that baby being named Milo. I get the classic reference, and I think part of it was the Firestorm novel, which made even less sense. But Caesar or Cornelia using the name Milo made no sense whatsoever. Even classic Caesar never knew about Milo or that his name was supposed to be Milo.

I know who that clerk was? the woman is a brilliant actress.

Oh, I hate these Rise scenes! Having a poor little nine year old and a what 14/15 year old there to be upset to just makes it harder. Again, good for Amanda for restraining Lily.
