Gah I love this whole part of the book where they are slowly rebuilding the pieces and we're all waiting for the right moment for one of them to crack and you captured that vulnerability and hope and OMG-JUST-KISS elements brilliantly. You wrote Ron so well - all the insecurities mixed with his newfound maturity and even a hint of his old jealousies that he's actively trying to overcome. Also sleepy!Hermione is adorable and cuddly and we/Ron need more of her. Less of her being right about certain people actually being certain Dark objects all along because that makes me sad (by this I mean do not stop this.)

And Harry marrying Buckbeak is an image that will stay with me for a long time. Great fic!
