Percie Jean chapter 1 . 8/6 It's inevitable to kind of wonder what Jamie and the other children were like once they got older, and how they would have either retained or forgotten some of their experiences of the Guardians, so this was a nice bit of universe extension in its exploration of moving on but also remembering. It would be really interesting to see this from Jack's POV as a way of concurrently touching upon the process by which a Guardian - especially one that's still comparatively new, but isn't completely green and perhaps is now more able to cope with loss - also lets go but still remembers the children whose lives he's touched. Nicely done! :) |
NursingSchoolGrad chapter 1 . 4/22/2015 Nice. I hope Jamie wouldn't forget. This story makes me want to hear Owl City's "Fireflies" song again. |
SpoilerAlert13 chapter 1 . 3/11/2015 This is so cute, sempai! I'll just be over here crying... |
lyan chapter 1 . 3/11/2015 Hello I loved it and have a request to make if you please write one from jacks point of view please? If you will. |
FlightFeathers chapter 1 . 3/11/2015 It was really nice, however short it was. It is something like Jamie to hold his head up high, and enjoy the snow. He was acting like a child - but acting like one is the true joy, is it not? It is natural for him to remember the past days, in which he played, had fun, on a snow day (or after a snowflake landed on his nose). After all, snow is the doing of the winter spirit, Jack Frost - the Guardian of fun. I liked that you made him reminisce the happy days on a snow day. It is simply very touching that he remembered Jack's name and HIM. His memories easily turned towards Jack, his favorite guardian - the guardian he was closest to - because of the snowy day. And I think, Jack was greeting him back by alighting a snowflake on his nose. I enjoyed this one-shot. |
Kathryn Claire O'Connor chapter 1 . 3/10/2015 This is adorable! |
