All three chapters were so good I wish you had written an entire story. I really liked your version of Aramis rescuing the queen. What was really impressive about your work was how you expressed their inner most thoughts, their anguish over their hopeless situations.

That episode was so dramatic and this chapter just brought that all back well done :)

Beautiful writing, portraying the emotions and turmoil of Aramis and Anne (& Rochefort) so vividly. I love this pairing and can't wait for the next chapter. This is really helping me get over the end of series 2!

Oh how I loved this one-shot! The first section was so beautiful-Anne alone with her child, thinking of his father and how out of their love, a "tiny spark of life" had been created. You really capture the creepiness and insanity of Rochefort-so deluded that he doesn't even realize would be raping a mother in front of her baby. I loved the exchange of "Why don't you step closer and I will show you madness?"-"I can see it quite well from here, thank you." SO Aramis-that would be perfect on screen! Anne outwitting Rochefort by pretending to give in, only to stab him, was genius. I think I liked this version better than the one the show gave us!
