*grabs little Obi-Wan and gives him an enormous hug* Did I mention how much I love this story? You should do a sequel where AHSOKA is assigned the same assignment and Anakin finds out the truth about the assignment and goes to ask Obi-Wan how he did it. ;-) I think that Obi-Wan's always had a deeper connection to the Force and the trust to go along with it and only a few people (like Qui-Gon or Yoda or maybe Mace Windu) actually notice.

I so liked this chap, all the feelings Obi-Wan had and the reasoning that created the exercise.. very interesting and creative!

I felt for Obi-Wan when "Qui-Gon" got kicked over. And that "I miss you" says it all. What a creative and interesting idea for an assignment.

Awww. This was too cute. Love Qui-Gon's gentle sternness, Obi-Wan trying to hide behind his anger but not being able to keep anything from his Master, and that tender moment at the end where Qui-Gon says he wants him to stay. Good chapter.
