I'm really loving these everyday, little moments between them! We rarely ever got that with Ross and Rachel on the show - they were always assigned the more "big" moments. I think they're definitely as interesting as the proposal chapter! I really love the way you write the others too. Monica's "You're gonna be an official Geller now" is so Monica and Phoebe's "Now, did you say yes right away or did you hesitate?" made me crack up! I can so imagine Phoebe saying that, haha. And Chandler and his marriage jokes too, of course!

I agree that Mark wouldn't be a part of their lives. He was really only a plot device on the show and only significant to Rachel in terms of her career. She never stayed in touch with him before, why would she now?

Oh man, my eyes totally welled up upon reading "I've been thinking about tonight for a long, long time". MY HEART. As soon as I read Central Perk was closed, I knew exactly what was going to happen! I wish we got to see at least their engagement in the show too. I know the writers always wanted the final episodes to be full of surprises, so while a wedding requires planning between two people in a relationship, their engagement is totally something they could've sprung upon us. Never mind though. This is what reading fan fiction is for, right?!

I loved the woes of parenting in the beginning. It kind of throws you off from what's about to happen and it gives us more of a realistic glimpse into their everyday lives. Of course they're not going to be "lovey dovey" all the time.

This is such a beautiful chapter and definitely does seven years of waiting justice. I don't think Ross and Rachel got what they fully deserved on the show. I think you should definitely keep writing more! This pace feels really natural and I'd love to see things fleshed out a little more. That was something we were always deprived of.

You write really well Tina! And damn yess, we didn't get to see a Ross and Rachel wedding during the series.

I would love to see more than 3 because like you said, making big jumps in time can feel clunky. But with more chapters we get to see more of their life play out fluidly. I think I agree on the engagement over the wedding. Ross and Rachel were always the more rom com style couple of the show, so their proposal would have been done in a more elaborate and cinematic way. I think theres only so creative and dramatic you can be with a wedding. I love the closure reference. They never had it till the very end and it is funny to look back at the early seasons and realize the characters would never have guessed how it would play out.

Ugh! The fluff, I loved this chapter. So glad Ross and Rachel are finally engaged. I think they still have a lot of work ahead of them, but now they can do it as a married couple. I totally agree, two year olds are a lot to handle! Perhaps ending when they exchange their I do's would be a good idea? You kind of come full circle if you go that route. :)

Aww, this was such a cute, wholesome chapter! I love Ross and Rachel settling into family life and their new apartment sounds so beautiful! Hardwood floors, white walls and exposed brick is my dream, haha. I had the biggest smile on my face when Phoebe and Mike gifted Emma a toy lobster (and lol at Emma and Mike's confusion) and I laughed when Amy got her the pair of earrings. I knew exactly what you were talking about before you even further explained it!

Loved the ending with Rachel perving on her man! I think you were teasing us just as much as Ross was teasing her!

I would love to see a Roschel story with them having another baby or them being together in the beginning and finding out she’s pregnant. I love your stories they’re my favorite!
