Verteller chapter 31 . 9/16/2018 Well then... Uptight blondey has quite the influence on his troops. Souls are so tiny! It's like they're ghostly gumballs! I'm betting the scream came from the hunter, or just Hisana reacting to suddenly realizing there's an enemy behind her. Otherwise, Ichigo is a terrible watcher. I'm a bit confused on why uptight blondey wants his hunters to kill indiscriminately. Any humans can be more minions, and by establishing he might be the bad guy when the troops aren't blindly loyal, there's a greater risk of individuals defecting when possible. They might especially switch sides if say a god-like person was willing to protect them as long as they repented for badly reacting to the idea vampires are real. |
Verteller chapter 30 . 9/8/2018 Yep. It's a decent chapter. I wonder which mountain he's referring to though |
Verteller chapter 29 . 8/31/2018 Ooh, this chapter is NI~CE. I love the developing madness, plus the bits and pieces that give clues to the identity of the vampire are a great touch. I never knew I needed to know what the hell butterfly's real life counterpart was, and now I do. For that, I thank you. Also, someone getting paranoid over something as harmless as a butterfly is just awesome to read. Or perhaps Kurosaki IS watching him? As for the hunter victims, either Jugram or Ichigo is conveniently drawing the vampire towards food sources to avoid S.I.N. I'm thinking Jugram, since these hunters only seem to show up when S.I.N. mode gets dangerously close, and seems like something useful for breaking down a vampire's mental state. |
Verteller chapter 28 . 8/26/2018 ... Okay... So Gabriel is good Michael is bad. And Gabriel being viewed as an ss is just a misunderstanding. Got it. Wait, so the entire city was a wasteland? What about the country? I know there was a war and all, so there's going to be dead zones, but I'm now confused on how bad it'd gotten and what parts of the world were affected. Areas around the towers would be devastated for sure, but beyond that is a mystery. Ha! Flee puny hunters, flee! Fear the pretty vegetation restoring the rubble around you! Where did Shiro pop up from? (Before Ichigo visits heaven) His appearance feels very random. Especially when he doesn't question his mate walking through a portal, and just leaves before Ichigo even gets back. Did he hear a part of the conversation or something? It just seems jarring. Getting to Heaven felt too easy. The fact that Ichigo can't get there on his own seemed like a set up for something more, but having the solution just be to use the key in Lucifer's possession felt cheap. However, I did like the revelation that Heaven has been a dying wasteland the whole time. It's great twist. I do like your story. I really do, but you seem so focused on making stuff happens (really cool stuff I might add), that it gets rushed at times. There are plot points that either gets little build up, or falls short. This chapter in particular has a lot of "stuff happens" in it. |
Verteller chapter 27 . 8/19/2018 Golden trees? Why golden trees? Does he want a golden house? |
Verteller chapter 26 . 8/12/2018 So Quincy Jesus has entered the stage. Greeeeeat. By the way, I've been meaning to ask, if Ichigo is so powerful, why can't he resurrect the dead? He created that rat, and finding the right components to recreate a body shouldn't be too hard for him. Pulling the soul back from the beyond should be feasible if Lucifer is being tasked to sort through them all. |
Verteller chapter 25 . 8/5/2018 Wow. Being literally a god must mean a pre-lubed ss at all conveniences. What if you brought a practiced Buddhist character into the mix as a sort of teacher? Shinto or Taoism could work too. Ichigo could use some Eastern Zen to balance out his Christian rage. I don't know, just a thought. |
Akeetha chapter 9 . 7/31/2018 Dude, this is so well written if I gave this to my English professor they'd mark you a grade A for accuracy. Can we all just appreciate that we finally have a well written fanfiction on this website? I don't regret the three hours of painfully reading through odd fanfics on this site (AND I MEAN OODDD) to find this BOOTIFUL piece of art right here. (Says that during a torture chapter xD) |
Verteller chapter 24 . 7/29/2018 Congratulations to Shiro! It's not often you get to f*ck a literal GOD in the ss! |
Verteller chapter 24 . 7/29/2018 Uhh... While I'm no bothered by Cang's remains being discovered, and sexy time being in the same chapter, it is a bit jarring, even with the short bit in between. Also: Damn you Gabriel! (I'm just assuming who the Blondie is.) Side note, I thought Cang was made to never die, and never be found again, or was that intended to be hyperbolic? |
Verteller chapter 23 . 7/22/2018 I very much want to know what that "something else" is... Ichigo forgets the good humans are capable of. Then again, I suppose having humans be the ones to take away everything you ever loved can do that to you. What happened to the human vampire sympathizers? Surely there were plenty of people who realized that the vampires have left humanity relatively by itself for several millennia and are probably capable of coexistence. Especially since the blood bank is a thing, and no one has to die just to feed them. Also Twilight fans would be thanking the heavens for finally giving them a smidgen of a chance to find their dream vampire boyfriend. |
Verteller chapter 22 . 7/21/2018 I'll be honest, I forgot Shiro could read minds, and I'm now remembering what he did to meet Ichigo for the first time. Ah, good days. Poor guy, mind controlled to snatch Ichigo's wallet, but still better days than now. This chapter was really good. Details and emotions can really add to any story. Though, I hope I'm not putting too much pressure on you for these kinds of things. I'm sorry if writing this mini chapter was annoying for you. |
Verteller chapter 21 . 7/17/2018 Aww, he can't say no to a puppy. I can just imagine Hisana and the pup as Chibis, giving the puppy eyes, then Ichigo joins them as a chibi, and they all bombard poor Shiro with sparkles. Heh heh... Anyways, wow more exposition, but at least they actually did something afterwards, so that's good. (I apologise in advance for ranting a bit) I know Ichigo has god powers beyond comprehension and all that, but the lack of doing anything for Shiro's transformation is a bit... I'm not sure how to put it. Disappointing, maybe? Kinda bleh? I'm honestly not sure. Shiro now can live without drinking blood, because Ichigo thought about it. I know powers activating doesn't mean something has to glow, but at least make them do something. Shiro not really feeling anything doesn't help. There's action, but no impact. The fact blood is no longer a necessary food source, for someone who's had to feed on blood for several centuries, he probably has several thoughts on this new drastic development on his way of life. Will he miss the hunt? Did he enjoy blood? Is he relieved? I think the scene lacks substance without any reactions. Also, the quick line about Ichigo keeping the fangs and Shiro not being happy about it feels thrown in as an after thought. Why doesn't Shiro like them, and is this going to turn into a biting fetish for Ichigo? Well, those are my thoughts. I'm sorry if it's a bit more critical than usual. And it's okay if the chapter is a little late, at least you still updated. Heck, I'm over a year late on updating my own story. |
Verteller chapter 20 . 7/7/2018 Oh dear. Is Shiro going to have an existential crisis? Honestly, I don't have much to say for this chapter. A bit exposition heavy, but at least it largely keeps to the essentials. |
Verteller chapter 19 . 7/1/2018 So are the figures of other religions going to connected in some way? Like they may be the same people but with different names, or the deities are all the same race but are just region specific. For instance, Thor could be another name for Gabriel (Example name, I don't know that many bible names or personalities), or could just be a Germanic angel who likes his drink and adventure. Stories do tend to change and evolve through the continuous oral retelling, after all. |
