I really enjoyed this story! Your characterizations are great and it’s really heartwarming to read, and also occasionally heart wrenching considering how things go in the movie. I know this story hasn’t been updated in awhile, but if there’s still more to it I’m excited to read future chapters! Props and keep up the good work!

I hope you plan on updating, this story is great! Maybe you could write a chapter where Hiro almost gets run over by a car or hurt because he couldn't hear something and Tadashi goes into classic overprotective-big-brother-created-by-disney mode?

I wonder where you heard that it was considered rude to speak in front of deaf people? Or did you just put that in to demonstrate unpreparedness in the nerd lab? I'd never heard that before from d/Deaf or hearing people alike so I was just curious

This is so CUTE! I love it! :D It's so well researched- I saw a video recently on fb on deaf people who get hearing aids and hear for the first time. I cried so hard! This is fantastic! I love how it's not a hindrance to Hiro or any one of the Hamadas that Hiro is deaf, well done!

I cannot fully express how much I love the writing. I looked off into the distance more than necessary in the first chapter for the pure emotion I was feeling for Hiro, especially (ESPECIALLY) after he put on the hearing aids. The first chapter was such a lovely introduction to Hiro's perspective and his relationship with his brother. The second chapter was sweet as well, with a more upbeat tone that suit Aunt Cass's energetic eccentricity. The third chapter was also loads of fun with having the nerd crew together, and I was so convinced by the science stuff? I read the author's note and was, seriously, surprised. Convincing writing right there. Thanks for writing!

This story is absolutely amazing! Ugh, it had me all mopey-sad at the beginning, then it was all happy-laughs, and now its all adorkable, just... d'aw! I love Hiro in this chapter, doing teenage-boy stuff but making it geeky; sometimes I forget he's still a kid. Can't wait for the next part!
