I've been reading pretty much all of your stories...'favorited' quite a few. Had to take a second to say that this one is AWESOME! Like it a lot.

Oh my goodness! I can't even tell you how much I love this idea and how greatly I enjoyed this story you've created to go along with it! The idea of everyone's life having its own storybook is so intriguing, and Henry feeling that they are handing out hope as they return each book to its rightful owner is perfect!

Naturally, I can understand how Emma is drawn to Killian, even if he doesn't seem to want to read it. The lovely details you have put in about his mother, and how Killian's eyes are painted darker after she no longer appears really got to me.

The line after Emma enters his story, "And all of a sudden the lost boy felt his heart start to beat again," just really seals the deal though - wonderfully expressed! Then, the part where he reveals that his one childhood book was about a little orphaned duckling turned swan...WOW. :)

I love this theory! And of course Killian would have the cutest cheeks ever as a baby. This was a great look into how everyone has their own storybooks. And the ending was just perfect. Thanks for sharing!

I feel fandom has this rose tinted view of Killian's mother. Going by patterns on the show.. I'd say that like with Emma where Snow is the darker of her parents I feel Killian's mother is going to be the darker of his parents. Since Killian hasn't said a word about her I think he does not know his mother is. Argh but why I am telling an author this "smh".

Well that was certainly a cute sorta silly fluffy.

The show tho does not do fluffy. So if indeed that pop up book is Killian's I fully expect it to detail his parent's history just like Emma's does. Yeah I know people don't have an high opinion of his father but what if his father didn't have a choice but to abandon his brother and him? After all that would make sense since Emma and Killian share similar experiences.

This is the wonder of Emma and Hook, coming together from completely different places and experiences. Sharing the experience of pain and loss. Falling in love. This was wonderful to read, just wonderful.
