This is perfection, I can't even begin to express my love for this story.
Okay, that's a lie, I totally can!

First of all, you know how I love the first person POV, so you already had that going on from the moment you started, but then, I realized that Kaworu was actually doing a monologue, where he was legitimately talking to Shinji. Now this, my friend, is my absolute favorite type of story, and naturally, you're writing and the way you handled this was absolutely brilliant! I'm just so in love with this story, and I'm even happier that it came from you. The way you portrayed Kaworu in this was just so amazing, his feelings, his rationale, his methodology, everything just felt so right and wonderful. The emotion in this is supremely accurate. It perfectly professes Kaworu's love in away that's matter-of-factually, and wholly unyielding. It's also superbly realistic in the fact that Kaworu fully acknowledges that he and Shinji were never meant to be happy, yet he still wonders, that maybe, just maybe, they could change fate.

Just let me gush over your perfection for forever, okay?
