Chibi kitsune chapter 27 . 3/31/2018 This fic is like totally too cute! I heart it! I also think you portrayed Rocket amazingly, keep writing! |
SakuHina-X3 chapter 26 . 3/25/2018 Dear Kairos Impending, I absolutely adored your story; the plot is simple as to not end in situations in which you can't get the characters out of (it happens to me all the time -.-') yet it isn't simplistic, you keep the story flowing and the reader interested. I personally read it in an afternoon: i was hanging to every word! The characterizations are awesome! They are really similar to the real characters and i loved them so much; they were very relatable and down to earth. I would say crossover fics of The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy are the best and it's refreshing to read a story in which they don't get along and clash against each other (especially because of their different personalities and views). I could go on forever praising your work, but i doubt you want to read an entire essay of it, so i'm going to cut it (relatively) short and just conclude that i loved your work, it's really well written and i would love to read more (I'm already going to start "Brace for impact" as i finish this review). Amazing job doesn't cut it, but that's the best i can give! ;) Ciao from Italy SakuHina-X3 |
Spider-Man Super-Fan chapter 27 . 1/14/2018 This is a really great story! I enjoyed reading it a lot! |
Guest chapter 6 . 12/16/2017 Tony's random block all Alien technology is such a overpowered hand wave. They all use the same physical laws it makes no sense. |
Guest chapter 24 . 10/17/2017 So, can't really help but feel your a bit of a guardians of the galaxy fanboy and don't really like the avengers, after you've been subtly making Tony the worst guy and the rest of the avengers the bad guys too after all. Your making it seem like the guardians are in the right when THEY are the ones who invaded the tower without trying to contact first. It doesn't help that Rocket cut the security. Isn't THAT a bad first impression? But no, Tony's the asshole, and the avengers are just douche bags in general, oh, and they are only old war buddies. They were old war buddies and good friends after the first movie. A friendship that has now fallen apart, but I doubt it's permanent. You present the guardians as extremely close friends, even though the simple fact is they are about as close as the avengers are. |
Lerie chapter 25 . 10/7/2017 Do you have any knowledge of these characters? |
Wicked.Onna chapter 26 . 8/27/2017 great story well written and brilliantly done less humor then I would have thought but still a work of art |
UnknownWarner chapter 27 . 6/5/2017 Where to begin? The characters were so expertly portrayed that (to me) it felt like you were an official writer for Marvel. Everyone was so in character. Even the fluffier sweeter moments with Rocket didn't seem cheesy or "fan girl", but were rather realistically portrayed and very well written. You're grammar was spot on through out the whole story, as well as your layout and spacing and all that boring writer stuff. The story itself was very unique and interesting to me, and I particularly like how it was mostly all in one small confined area. No confusing giant space battles, it was all very easy to keep up with. Even the action scenes were easy and enjoyable to read. The interactions between The Avengers and the guardians was also very entertaining and was almost exactly how I imagined it would be. Though this was a more emotional and dramatic story, some of the humor used was very clever and funny. I'm a hardass who never smiles, and I actually giggled a few times through out. I joined the GOTG fandom a few years late, but that means I have great fics like this already completed. Reading the sequel now ! |
UnknownWarner chapter 17 . 6/5/2017 I just wanted to comment on this specific chapter and say that the emotion portrayed between Rocket and Peter was absolutely stunning. I love it when their friendship is tested, especially when it's written so realistically. |
brinaynay chapter 27 . 5/7/2017 That was amazing! i may have teared up a bit.. Im so excited to check out the sequel! |
ThePleasurableMushu chapter 26 . 4/26/2017 Oh my god YESSSSS! This is the sorta thing that made me fall in love with reading, ah! Thank you! |
ThePleasurableMushu chapter 23 . 4/26/2017 You have mad writing skills! The character development is fantastic, I just can't stop reading this, and I know with certainty I'll b rereading this in the future. You really nailed all the characters, and you got a whole mix of genres and themes here! Someone should make this into a comic! I love, love, looove this story so far! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome writing with the world, can't wait to see how it ends! |
Guest chapter 25 . 1/8/2017 I really enjoyed this fic, it was one of the best Avengers/Guardians fics I've come across. Everybody was generally in character, and I loved the interactions between the guardians and the avengers. That being said, however, I feel like the portrayal of Tony was a bit unfair. An alien raccoon broke into his tower, bit his girlfriend, then rigged the tower to blow as he left, not caring who he killed or if they even detected an explosion/implosion before it happened. Clearly, Rocket was traumatized by his past and even though he made some serious mistakes, he was portrayed sympathetically. In the end, however, no matter how traumatized he was, the Avengers dealt with him in exactly the way most would deal with what they thought was a wild, possibly rabid raccoon, and then a hostile, invading alien. Meanwhile, everyone shit on Stark for basically being snarky and upset that the tower was invaded, nearly blown up, and people he loved, not to mention innocent New Yorkers, put in danger. I'd say his reaction was well within the norm. At times, Natasha, Bruce, and the other avengers seemed a bit too calm, which was unrealistic after the last invasion of New York by aliens. Anyway, I still really enjoyed the story and most of the character interactions, even if I felt that Stark got a raw deal. He's an asshole on the outside, but so are Peter and Rocket and even Clint at times. I will read the sequel and look forward to seeing what happens between the Guardians and the Avengers next. |
