This really was very brilliantly done, and I wish I could favourite this chapter a million times.

This rendition between XYZ and YQ was somehow more compelling than the original Time Traveller's Wife (which I found kind of stale...) To see this time-travelling dimension added on to the already glorious mess of how they met/came together was really fascinating. I particularly loved the glimpses into XYZ's future self - a more thoughtful and tempered version of her current self. And I loved the complex and nuanced relationship between XYZ and YQ in this version, and how somehow the time-travelling has made their relationship both more familiar/intimate yet more uncomfortable/nerve-wracking.

My favourite bit was definitely the 16/19 (*swoon*), but the 18/35 inspection trip was a close second (short but poignant). Actually, the bits about the pregnancy and the worrying about genetics were also very vivid and REAL. Who am I kidding, I loved them all! (Although I never really accepted HZGG 3, so I'm reluctant to accept Zhi Hua but I understand how she adds a good illustration of predestination to the story.)

Also, LOVE your snappy writing. "Embroidered ball of unwanted marriage". *Snort* "Oh, who is this?"

I could go and on about this! So I'll just stop here and say thank you for sharing this lovely piece of writing! I'm new (dropping by?) to the fandom (new-ish... I was around almost 20 years ago, before HZGG was on ...) and I'm so glad to have chanced upon your story. What a pleasure!

I love seeing Qing Er back in her role. She's just such a good princess - she's got that diplomacy stuff down! I hope Yong Ji will learn to be happy with his bride! (I hear Yong Ji when I listen to the raw audio; at least, that's how Zhang Tielin pronounces it.)

I love this cute little story with Qing Er and how it delves a little bit more into the brother relationship between Yong Qi and Yong Ji.

I just wish there was more interaction between Yong Qi and XYZ haha xx

Always love these out takes from "Let the years" universe! Btw in the HZGG series, the way Yong Ji's name is pronounced is really Yong Ji(4), not like what the pinyin converters said (same sound as Yong Qi). So...Qiong Yau is wrong, or the pinyin converters are wrong?

Yay, back to Let the Years Sculpture Our Love universe! I miss the universe so - and really enjoy the world you created in it (likely because I also always found it ridiculous that the emperor's favored son, who had a song himself, would just...leave them both). I really enjoyed reading this update.
