This situation really shows how fucked Severus was in his life through an unbiased view. He ignores the dark side and his housemates and/or dark wizards strike him and everything he loves down. He chooses the dark side and everything he loves is fighting against him and the light side doesn’t trust him. It only goes to show how the headmaster really could’ve given those in Slytherin some extra support. Years of assumptions are always going to way heavily on children’s minds, and having them in the same area as far older kids who are now firmly with the rumours is never going to end well.

Poor Severus, he's trapped and there's not even one adult he can trust, how surprised his former students are the only by his side...
If we may offer suggestions for the next chapters, I'd be really happy to see Severus sick with hallucinations, and accidentally reveal some things about his childhood and maybe Lily... It would also be nice for someone to take care of this child.

Yay an update! I loved how the story picked right back up and continued. I'm so glad that Harry spoke up for Severus. I am a little worried and scared for Severus though. It seems like he doesn't know who to trust, and is scared of the people who should be looking after him. I really hope that Harry will continue to stick up for Severus, perhaps they may become friends? Eventually?

Great writing so far! You kept the same feeling and pace as previous chapters. That is hard to do when stories take a long time to write out. Well done.

I like how Harry spoke up for Severus. Lodging him with Black and Potter is a huge mistake.

Maybe at some point Sev gets tempted and responds to lucius out of anger to something sirius or moody do and he eventually founds himself in voldemort's presence only to find voldemort is evil and wanting to scape been harm to use him to something and all that leads to the final battle of the war maybe?

I nearly fell off my seat reading Harry Potter totally understanding, then standing up for, Severus Snape. It was beautiful, I really enjoyed it (even if it was a little surreal).
Severus has to play Gryffindor a while, poor kid, but he may ignite Ron's strategic talents through their chess matches and may encourage him to see that this talent could be useful in real life, too.
I can't blame him for burning Lucius's second letter, but he should tell his young allies before another one turns up. He can even tell them that Lucius either believes he's an ally or wants to coax him into turning coats. Telling the adults will only make them trust him even less and that situation is bad enough as it stands. If their distrust becomes threatening enough he might feel like he has to run to the Malfoys for protection!

Hi there! I'm new here, I just stumbled upon this fic accidently and swallowed it in one go aand now I just wanted to express my gratitude for this fic, couse it's awesome! It's been a while since I found a deaged Sev fic with Severus beheaving so in character! And I love the fact that twins and Severus can actually be civil with each other, who knows, maybe if things were different they could actually get along quite well with twins apparent interest in potions (that's what a lot of their jokes are based on, after all), they could totally do weird potions experiments together...
Anway. I hope you will be so kind and update it, becouse iiiiiis this cliffhanger good... Don't feel pressured though, or anything. I will wait as long as you need, just please don't abandon it ; )
