I really do believe the theory that he secretly follows levy in order to make sure she is safe. In fact levy is the main reason he became loyal to Fairy Tail ever since she asked him to stop Laxus. He goes from not caring to all I'm going to beat Laxus!

Awww! He's realized his feelings for her! This was so sweet to read. You should definely do her pov and post it. I'll hurt you if you don't. Nah just kidding, but I do know she feels the same for him. From the hints in the anime and manga. One big hint is when she gave him air during their time underwater. She could've done that with anyone, but she chose him. Which says to me her obvious affection for him, despite his nature and behavior. Sorry for making the review long!
