Very good story. Even the reapers will tremble before a heavy naval ppc or ten. A battletech warship with mass effect engines could terrify ANY ONE.

great story ,the Mass Effect universe isn't going to be ready for this. I like how you introduce the Alliance and Shepard into the story. I The merc groups groups will have to clean up their acts or get stomped on,literally. The possibility's for this story are fantastic to say the least. To say I am eagerly awaiting your next chapter would be an understatement.

I had a thought on how to make them fighters faster, with some small compact ME Core, able to turn it off and on but still able to fly, however the startup of the ME Core would alert those who are looking for it. However since these fighters can work without said Core going in stealth mode for ambushes would be great then activate said core to allow for quick maneuvering power both in space and in atmosphere.

Although maybe have the Quarrian thought this up, a kind of merger of the tech trees to make them even more deadlier.

Is this still going to be updated? I love the story so far, but it's been 6 months since the last update.

So far I'm really liking this. The only thing that I'm a little iffy on is them selling their military tech. Generally speaking, in both a business and a survival standpoint, selling your best advantage to the other side is always going to come back to bite you in the rear. I think(Personally)that the absolute biggest thing they should be selling are light IS battle armor and the "Normal"(No idea what it actually is, it's just called "Normal" in MW4 Mercs. Looks like a really small Elemental), with no energy weapons on the market. It would be prudent to keep their big guns and Eweps(Since Kinetic Barriers don't defend against them)to themselves for now.

YES! So far, you've got one of the better ME/BT fics going. Keep it up! Your style seems to be very clean. If you need Beta support, please keep me in mind!

Oh I like this. MW4 Mercenaries is my favorite of all the MW games and it even fits my own play rather nicely as I was GDL and stayed loyal to that sinking ship that was Steiner.

Their not giving a damn about keeping most of their tech so long as makes the cold hard credits is also well in character for IS groups but massively against most cross overs with ME. This should be GOOD.

A different "from alternate universe" story. I like. And is wondering what is going to happen next :)
