still an interesting read, though i think i'm going to avoid your ANs from now, they seem overly defensive, bordering on hostile to me.

interesting read overall so far. the only quibble i would have is that if the protheans seeded earth with magic, why would they leave evidence of mass effect technology behind as well?

wouldn't it make sense for say, an older civilization, say, the Insuannon, seeded the magic there, and the protheans, not knowing about it, left behind mass effect tech later.

Wow, this is a great version of this type of story! Very much unlike anything else I've read.

I go to fanfiction because i was unhappy with how weak and powerless Harry was in the original books. I wanted to see a more able Harry, a Harry who was more in control of his powers and knowledge. So your version of Harry was a disappointment.

A good start, but it could be great if Harry was more of a real person. Harry's history and actions so far are more a caricature of him during the original series rather than an image of an individual who has participated in multiple wars and lived for two centuries... there is no 'flavor' to Harry except apathy... he couldn't be bothered to help with recovery after the war, he couldn't be bothered to really help anyone in the genocide that followed... he's too cowardly to help Alice on Eden Prime by using magic (even though he really could have done so and kept magic hidden... apparate into Alice's closet and obliviate if necessary)... I'm honestly wondering where his sudden need to help against the Reapers came from...

There is GREAT potential here, but I think that a little more work needs to be done in character development as Harry is a little like a blow up doll right now... hidden away until needed for reasons of plot.

And you forgot he could apparate? I know he was concealing his abilities, but in the decade plus he, a survivor of two centuries of conflict, did not set up some points he could apparate to in the clear? Very counterintuitive! Anyone that makes it past the first 25 years in a war zone is one paranoid son of a bitch! He made it thru two centuries of conflict and hiding. All that shit should be automatic. He is NOT little Harry Potter. He is the Master of Death. Cognitive disonance abounds...
Other than that, good fic, nice read.

I recently found this story. I was greatly disappointed when I got to the end.

Please update soon, it's been over a year.

Just reread this and I still like it! I hope you can find the enthusiasm and time to continue it.
