It did annoy me that Dipper didn't seem to care the world was ending. He was just like "meh I've banished ghosts, fought peacocks, and flirted with my sisters rival. I've done enough for tonight."

It seems like only romantic cheese filled stories get noticed on this site. Maybe bc this ship is just starting to gain attention but c'mon you gotta appreciate the subtle kind of down low. The starting to like like somone kind. Riiiight? Riight. I like this story bc I could see it happening. It didn't grind my teeth with its OOC-ness. Not that they were OOC but most posted stories here are either too OOC or with a cliche unrealistic plot-line. Bc what is Alex Hirsch if not original. I like relationships that aren't all about romance. Friendships are important too. Bc personally I think that's where it should start.

I like how dorkily insightful and self-aware your Dipper is.

It's so weird how people expect them to immediately likelike each other. Where's the build up?

Great one-shot. I really love fics that add on to a single scene as a one-shot. That makes it actually feel like a real story and not just a bunch of stuff thrown together to quickly get something out of your head and move on to writing something else. I like how Dipper isn't sure what exactly to make of Pacifica's change, it's very much how he would respond I feel.

Nice to get them to follow up on McGucket. Dipper really should have done this in the episode.

This was very well written! I love one-shots that just describe one scene. In fact, in this case there was no need for a follow up which means it's satisfying.

I'm hooked! You left a bit of mystery to Paz for Dipper to figure out (if she is being real or fake with her responses), and we all know he loves a good mystery! And his consideration of her as the leading contestant for a mate ahead of the other girls his age. And the superficiality of Pacifica changing her attitude towards him just because (possibly) of his tux, and yet her profound observation that weighs Stan against her parents and finds Stan the better of the two! But at the same time you also continue the post crisis honesty betwixt the Dip and Paz, their new relationship. This could go in so many directions! Well done! I think you could easily take this 20 chapters or more!
