Update.

I'll be honest, I enjoyed this story. The MC wasnt OP, the characters were fun even if not in character all the time. But then the whole interdimesional travel thing popped up, the forest bit was ok, I was entertained.

But then the whole Soul Eater arc happened and by god what the hell. Please, when collabing, post the appropriate writings on your fic as well, keeps the flow smooth. And then, the events of the arc itself. The MC just goes insane, because he exposed him self to an elder gods soul. And he was insane to start with. In my opinion he did not start out that way. Reckless? Yes. Insane? No.
He just adds a couple more kinds of crazy. Whatever that means.
The point I'm going for here is that your MC has changed a lot from the MC you started with, personality wise. Not in a good way either. Almost no reason at all for how he turns from a fellow who is terrified of getting killed to being non chalant about risking his life doing shit out of his league.
Canon RWBY kinda fucked you up a bit huh?
To be honest, I'm a bit glad you stopped writing this fic. It was morphing into a cluster fucked fever dream.

Personally I always viewed Aura as something anyone with a soul on remnant could use. In the intro of Rwby we are told it was dust that first gave humanity the ability to fight back so its my guess that dust is neccesary to unlock aura not its immediate presence but a world without it would likely never be able to unlock their own. Im betting dust acts like an amplfier.

I'm glad I found this rather awesome story, sad that I might have to wait a while for an update, but I cannot complain much if you check my own stories haha, but I eagerly await the next chapter, and the, hopeful, eventuality of him wooing the twins, and not neo, even if neo is awesome

I think you should turn Adam around. Not completely away from the Fang, like most fics, but change the way they do things. Blake could even be sent to Beacon instead of running.

I think the cover art should start with Orion with his arms crossed and gauntlets uncollapsed(?). Then as the story goes on, add new weapons sheathed in various places. I suck at art or I would do it myself.

I figured they'd be gauntlets, being inspired my Yang's weapons and all. And actually, those would be my choice of weapon. Strength and endurance are my strong suit, so I would go for a martial arts style. My weapons would be a lot like a medieval knight's gauntlets though. And they would have some sort of custom interchangeable Dust cartridges making Flaming Fists of Fury a thing. Wind would make punches faster. Earth stronger. Though gravity would have to be carefully experimented with.

I notice you didn't put Ozpin on that list. Also, where is Taiyang?
