I... I don't know what to say, really... This story, this MASTERPIECE, has brought me along for a journey that was truly LEGENDARY. And even though it may be far from over, I have to say that you brought Destiny's storyline to life in ways that would make the writers not only proud, but also sorely jealous. It doesn't feel like some fan-fiction written by a player of the game, if feels like a book made by a character INSIDE the game. Whether it's a journal made by Maximus, or a historical-fiction written long after, I can't tell, but what I can tell you is that whoever wrote it, wrote it BEAUTIFULLY!

How did the Vandal know what Maximus' new armour looked like? He died minutes after creating it and the only person to ever see it was Arla.

Given that the Strangers tech seams to be more advanced they the Guardians, I doubt a tracking beacon she planted would malfunction like that, if she even needed a tracking beacon.

The Stranger is a lot more evil than I remember her in the game, and if she knows the Vex are so powerful why did he have to come alone?
I know I did in the game, but again it makes no sense to be alone here. What was even the point of him joining a fireteam in the first place? So far you've made it seam like no one does solo missions and everyone is in a fireteam or grounded at the Tower, yet you expect us to believe he has gone alone because some crazy woman told him too, he should at least have told the Vanguard what was going on.
So far in this story the biggest enemy has been public relations, the Darkness and its minions have barley been a nuisance. After PR is the Stranger, the actual enemy seams to be a distant fourth after other Guardians.

What happened to the super urgent meeting with the Speaker? It went from 'must happen now' to 'can wait til after lunch'.

The whole 'you're now level 3 so you get new perks' thing only really works in games, in a book it is immersion breaking.
Also, are all of the helmets in this story going to be so shockingly bad? I mean, every time it is so much as jostled it stops working.
