I think after a day like that Hamilton would be glad to go home to merciful silence. Delilah was delightfully persistent and Hamilton very clever in hanging out with Sampson to catch her.

Finally, a new Hamilton story! Poor Chamberlin, with everything going down the drain ;-) And poor Sampson! You have written him very well - although I do not really like the guy, I am quite sure he would be as immune to bribery as Hamilton himself. And then our favourite D.A., I can totally see him clucking over his assistants like a mother hen, anxious about their progress, proud of their success, and trying his utmost to help them where he feels they need help. Do I have to mention I'm very fond of him?

Thanks for the new chapter! And it shows just how much Hamilton takes care of the people in his office. Even Perry, who is known for many things in the courtroom, would NOT allow his clients to do something like this! If Sampson was working for Perry, Perry would have done the same thing, let him take the day off, be there when he needed it. And that is something that even Hamilton would know as well.
