I'm so pleased you managed to find your way back to this story after so long. It really appears that you have been able to knit everything together despite the gap between chapters. I love this story, the heartache, the brotherhood, and I sincerely hope you can now see your way through the final pieces of this very good story!

I'm enjoying the story so far however I'm hoping the next chapter will dive more into all there emotional issues over the last chapters. D'Art needs to deal with what happened and Athos and Treville need to deal with guilt and everyone needs to talk. Also at the begining of the story the guys talked about learning more of D'Art I would love to see that happen. That would be an awesome way to end the story.

wow feel so bad for what d'Artagnan went threw is toad uncle doing what he did to him. Aramis being hurt and not taking any crap from that tosser doctor.. Feel so bad Athos thinking whats happened is his fault and crawls into a bottle. Glad he showed up at d'Artagnan's side. Finally some piece at last? question is how long will it last?

A long emotional chapter. A very good one.
Aramis' despair at d'Artagnan's bedside was heartshattering. The weight of responsability for the boy's life seems too much for poor Aramis. Good that he has his anchor - Porthos with him. It was brilliant to suggest to fight the fever first. However Aramis' readiness to draw himself if the cure killed the boy was frightening.

Treville cannot leave! He has to fix all this mess. Aramis is completely right about it! The Inseperables need their Captain (d'Artagnan included).
And d'Artagnan needs Athos. The scene when he thought he caused the boy to cough was heart breaking. It is not his fault! Treville needs to talk with him.
Athos' absence is hurting the boy further!

OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED THAT YOU'RE BACK! YAAY, WELCOME BACK! I have missed this story so much, like you wouldn't believe! But I do understand that life can hit you in the face with a brick sometimes, and it can effect time for creative writing! :P

CANNOT wait for the next two chapters! And Athos better get his butt back in there, D'artagnan needs him! Can I ask if Constance will make an appearance to come check up on her injured Knight-in-Shining-Leather-Armour? I ship Constangan like crazy, Relationship Goals all the way!
