You wrote so well, Edward's "voice" and character in this story was consistent throughout, and the character development of remorse and redemption so believable.

Alice had carved a space for Edward way before they even met him. You wrote so well.

Chicago trip- I don't think Edward could just walk up to Emilie and say "hi"- a bit hard to explain how he didn't age at all. Or he could pretend to be a great-grandson who happens to be the spitting image of Edward?

Understandably Edward is overwhelmed with the information the Cullens and Bella found on his friends.

Edward's breakdown. His reaction caught me by surprise (i thought he would have been happy), but a breakdown of course made perfect sense.

I noted Rosalie's non canon backstory and I wondered when I read that part..then you explained it perfectly in your AN. Of course no way canon Rose would have let Edward lived. Well thought out details, bravo.
