After reading this story, I cannot, at the moment, read other rwby works (I tried to read other highly recommended stories, even ones you have faved, haha). Given the circumstances, the characters and the flow of story are too powerful, too real for me, I will need some time to let this feeling settle. Thank you for writing this, I am *almost* at a loss for words.

I cracked the biggest smile when I realised that it was really Hope Estheim because FFXIII is one of my fave games and that little mention of it in a White Rose story makes me so damn happy

I almost think one of the genres of this fic should be Angst. It really feels like an Angst fic, even if it's mostly in the flashbacks.
