Y'know, I'd almost forgotten about this story until now. I really liked what little you've put out, and while I'm saddened to see you go, if you feel like you can't stick around, I'd completely understand. As someone who only ever dips my toes into the waters of the fandom, I really didn't know anything about how toxic the community was (aside from that silly shipping war metaphor in that one fanfic depicting it as an actual war), but if it's bad as you say... just bleh.
I can definitely relate to not ever wanting to return to a fandom out of sheer toxicity. If you ever do decide to return, I'll probably still be here, but if you don't, then I wish you well with whatever else you do.

It's unfortunate but completely understandable. I never really cared for ships but as of late I've come to absolutely despise the toxic aspects of the fandom. I never understand how or why people would get so hostile towards others for not sharing the same views as them for two MADE UP characters.
And my opinion on Rooster teeth has greatly dropped.

you just put into words how i have been feeling about all of this for the past year. I loved this story (i even made a D&D character based off of the first chapter and i'm seriously thinking about writing stories about him and see where that goes) and i'm sad to see ya go, but man thank you for even at least giving an update so i could reread this story and reignite the spark i felt for RWBY when i was 15 and onward.

I do have to point out the fact you felt the need to add radical to extremist implies to me that you didn't feel Adam was anything, but a psycho, but I can understand where you were going with it, and more importantly, I can understand being attacked for expressing an opinion. Understandable, the FNDM is really a shitshow. Have a nice life, my dude. At the very least, I'll miss you. Your stories are wholly unique in the dumpster fire that is RWBY.

Sad to see you go, but completely understandable. I've met Vic before at a Con a few years back and anyone I've spoken to about RWBY I've brought it up. In fact if I recall correctly it was the first time he announced that he would be voicing Qrow. To see the fandom fall apart without giving him a chance hurt. Hope that it recovers but I doubt it.

It's a shame to see you go but I understand your reasoning, RWBY just hasn't been the same since the original Volumes and neither has its fandom.
