Tikaya chapter 1 . 3/25/2017 Was about to read the Ranamon - Wormmon story first, but figured before clicking on it that this little piece might be important in understanding it. My first thought was "So.. Did Wormmon go to the same school as Tsunomon in Frontier?" and how that might have affected his life. The kids there were pretty mean... He seems like a really introspective character, always doubting himself, always worrying and then reassuring himself, attempting to justify what's happening to him. This is not healthy, Wormmon! You deserved better .-. I kinda like that despite all this, he doesn't want to be weak, he wants to move away from the corner he was pushed into and do it under his own power. Missed a "c" to complete "chance" in "after a bit of indecision, Wormmon seized that chance" :) What exactly does "rethought" mean in the second to last paragraph? I feel like something is missing from the tale of Wormmon. Something that makes his transition into Mercuremon more obvious, since the Warrior of Steel is hardly heroic. He's manipulative and dramatic, but nothing about him strikes me as hero or even anti-hero. I can see Wormmon becoming like him/transforming into him by being disillusioned by the world or corrupted by power, but maybe that's a story for another time. I still liked this one :) |
Blonde-Eko chapter 1 . 2/14/2015 Ooooooh, what an interesting take on Mercuremon here. I love it. The writing style is great and the way you've portrayed Worrmon is really sweet, well done! |
