Although we very, very seldom get snow in the Houston, Texas area, I can commiserate with Steph after seeing some of the horrendous weather on TV and internet news. However, we DO get unbearable heat waves here and many of our friends who live part of the year here and part of the year up north, run at the first sign of sweltering. :-) My husband loves the hot summers and his favorite thing is sweating puddles in a lawn chair under triple digit summer sun during the summer while I'm sitting directly under the air conditioning vents in only panties. :-)

Great story. I loved that Ranger came to rescue her and talked her into staying. I find it interesting that he's always done that for her, even when she was with Morelli, although Morelli didn't seem to think it was important enough to do those kinds of things for his girlfriend. Maybe that's why I've always been a "Babe" fan. Great writing.

I'm so glad I saved your sweet story for Valentine's Day! This story has strong, capable Stephanie at her best. Of course she can take care of herself and dig out her own car, but she's smart enough not refuse when Ranger shows up and invites her to stay at RangeMan. If only we all had a Ranger to "rescue us" from the winter cold. Hope your Valentine's Day is happy.

How sweet. As I live in a climate where snow is something you read about or watch on the TV I'll take your word for it that it gets that cold. Cold here means putting a long sleeved top on. Liked the thought of Ranger going to collect Steph on a cold cold day. Well written. Thankyou.

Warm Ranger would be great. So sick of snow & cold. Had to dig my car out Monday & I think snow is packed under my car. I'm with Steph. I'd stay with ranger until May
