This chapter makes me sad. Harry is a doormat who has married a woman that strives to put him down. (I wonder if she learned this from her mother Molly). Ginny also enjoys being the center of attention and spoiling the big day for others. She loves being with Harry only because he's famous and rich.

I can see your version of what happens after Voldemort is defeated. Ginny cuts off Harry from his friends including Hermione and Neville. He's allowed to associate with her brothers because they've never said no to her. She's been spoiled from birth as the only Weasley girl and further spoiled after the events of First Year where she suffered no blame. (If she'd been Muggleborn, I wonder if she'd be treated the same way).

Ginny is jealous of Fleur who's going to marry Bill. I don't see Fleur wanting to keep in touch with Bill's sister and mother, besides the monthly Sunday dinners. She probably goes in with gritted teeth and a fixed smile.

Ginny also cuts off contact with Hermione, Harry's first female friend at Hogwarts. I can't see Hermione attempting to stay in touch after Ginny keeps dragging Harry off, perhaps because Hermione has self esteem issues. Harry's overwhelming desire to have a family and feel he belongs somewhere and the way he's been abused all his life leads him to be spineless and always give in.

I can see an Epilogue where the bright smiles at King's Cross are meaningless, where everyone wears a mask at Molly Weasley's mandatory get-togethers, where Ginny and Molly get what they want including the image of a happy and united family.

Somehow I don't think the cousins going off to Hogwarts are as close as we would think. I wonder how far Harry and Ginny's three have been affected by their parents, and if young James resembles his bullying and spoiled grandfather at that age, and whether Lily Luna takes after her mother. I'm now surprised that Ginny allowed Luna to be close to her and Harry. I wonder about Rise as ND Hugo, hat they really think of their maternal grandparents the Muggles, and their famous relative Harry Potter.

I'd read the hell out of this as a full length story he'd just sass Voldemort to death

After this incident, Harry cost several alleged friends a great deal of money because they honestly believed that claimed he'd never dare do it. The only one who GOT money out of the wager was Draco Malfoy, who put nearly his entire month's allowance on Harry doing it on the grounds that "Potter is a Gryffindor's Gryffindor and doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'fear'."

Oooooh, I LOVE this concept... and damn it, this is the sort of thing I would love to beg for permission to expand on!

Actually, thinking about it, it would kind of make sense if a potion was in harry when his blood was taken to resurrect voldemort that it could effect the dark lord. (possibly even permanently) as it seems to me that if it had been possible to dissect tom he very well might have had the dna of harry for his blood, peter for his skin and organs, and his father's dna in his bones, considering the ingredients of the resurrection ritual. :p

Also what WOULD SIRIUS think of that law. Would he pack Harry and hermione (plus family) up and move? I doubt he would go along with it even if his hands were fairly well tied being an escaped convict...although is he really a convicted of he didn't even receive trial? I assume there is traveling restrictions for werewolves (is wasn't just Jews in WWII) due to the amount of loathing Remus and Sirius have for the pink whale toad.

I was always curious about Dumbles blood status. One story I read said his status didn't matter it was about his power after beating Grindlewald. The story called him Britains big stick and honestly I thought that too but your point about his issue being the killing as opposed to ideology makes tons of sense.
