HE'S HELPING?! that was the spanish inquisition. i didn't expect that. actually nevermind on that I can totally see why you did that, Oz would never let anyone into his school that he felt wasn't good at heart, and kidnapped-and-forced-to-be-a-weapon student peer would be a good reason for Cardin to stop hiding behind a Faunus hating facade. well made twists, and thought out plot.

I can already see where this story will lead, and what the climax will be. Ruby fell in love with Blake once, she doesnt need her memories to do it again, it'll snap her out of it. she won't kill Blake before that can happen cuz she never forgets Adam's scent, so she'll at first assume blake is an ally. Yang and others will be forgotten and attacked, and Ruby'll mercilessly tear them apart, but part the way through, she will be brought back to the good side by Blake, cuz true love and all that, and she'll turn on Adam, but because of the pain training she was given, she wont be able to help fight him at first. he'll flee like he does canonically, and they'll hunt him down later, like in canon but with Ruby helping instead of Yang. Ruby's feral state will become a triggerable mindset that Ruby can use to become a more powerful huntress, but before that can happen, they need to train her to use it without attacking anything and everything, or whatever Adam tells her to.

so I just get finished with this amazing chapter nine, and I click next, thinking that the next chapter is the last one, and also that this story has 8 chapters. now i feel dumb cuz i realized i was thinking of another story.

(I know the story is complete but i dont care) I feel ruby characterization weird in this fic. At first she is introduced as someone with crippling anxiety towards others, then she does a 180 when she confronts blake to aggressive, even though i can believe that its as defense, i cant believe that blake simply gain her trust back only after initiation (this is a girl that was thorn away from her home at 12-13 an live to fend for herself, i dont feel that was enough) also (Ruby’s and Yang’s reunion feels underwhelming like it didn’t had enough emotion. Like Yang who had her mother abandoned her, loses her baby sis to a kidnaping and when she sees her again after years of “tearing everything apart to find her” there is not enough waterworks. And finally on Ruby is again that weird dissonance between characterizations like you wanted to follow closely to the normal plot but with that starting characteritation and the normal ruby characterization of the show. I dont say no cheery ruby just that its nor mixed properly. (Okay probably you are not gonna pay atettikn to this review still i have read some of more recent stories and i cant see the improvement. still i think i needed to say this
