You don't need to rewrite it just have it where the encounter with the navy spooks them to where they stay behind.

Nothing's really changed from canon, Naruto hasn't affected much...

I actually always preferred Johnny and Yosaku just being filler characters tbh. I kind of miss Black Flame of Destructions story it was called Logia Luffy Rumble Rumble edition. In it Luffy ate the Goro-Goro no Mi and became a Lightning-man. But instead of becoming a Pirate decided to follow his Gramps' foot steps and became a Marine, Nami's paired with an OC Pirate, and Luffy who's a lot smarter, is paired with Boa Hancock. He had another version called Mera-Mera edition in it Luffy had Ace's Flame Flame Fruit and he was still a pirate, and paired with Robin.

A couple years back we were discussing an idea about a different Logia Luffy story in which he ate Aokiji's fruit. In said discussion Luffy was in fact a Revolutionary like his father and in order to support his dad he turned to Bounty Hunting. We never discussed who he'd be paired with in that version though. Between you and me I actually like Harem stories, I don't mind the written citrus called a Lemon either but I prefer reading seeing what ideas people have. Also Naruto's Fruit the "Sprinkle Sprinkle" fruit, you know there's an actual devil fruit out their called Mizu-Mizu no Mi that has the exact same effect you were talking about?

If you ever get back to this can I suggest three people for the crew and one of them being a woman for Sanji? They are: Alvida(for Sanji), Miss Goldenweek(I liked the girl and hate the fact that she and Miss Valentines Day never returned after Little Garden), and Kallifa of the Center Pol group(which one was it? Zero or nine?). Now I know Luffy needs a woman in his life but for the life of me don't know who'd make a good Queen, so maybe if you can work it Kalifa?

Interesting first chapter, though I have to wonder why the lack of updates did you lose your muse or are you short on ideas?
