As I have been terribly behind in catching up on all my fanfiction stories, I was excited that my first one was from you. I liked this story a lot as it had just enough plot to keep it moving and wonderful whump and comfort. Thank you!

Just read the whole thing through. Wonderful story. You always have such amazing plots and great characterizations. I could feel how Danny was torn between his feelings of love and trust for his ohana and the feelings of abandonment and disappointment. He had quite the shock and scare when he realized the man had given him a fatal dose and he was dying and his team wasn't there. No matter how forgiving you are (and Danny tops the list of forgiving people, take Rachel as an example) a really true near death experience like that has got to shake you to the core and would take a bit to completely get over. So, well done.

That was a scare for a minute when Danny felt let down by the team. But as always things are good in the end.
