i still hope for an update. thank you. i also think that if by Japanese personality base manga/anime. Jadeite is playful, like ZOi. if Rei is serious, it would balance her with Jadeite's playful nature of youth, even if his the Knight of patience, i believe it does not mean he is a flirt especially to Rei. it would be really boring if they are just both serious. I personally have the same personality of Rei. seriously. i think she needs someone who would brightening up the atmosphere whenever she is in a bad mood, and being patient and who will understand her, rather than finding someone who is the same as her (well in her condition, i could tell why Naoko chooses her for him), yep that's how i interpret it. but then again, i think its really typically common for most girls. and as for Ami... gosh... she reminds me of those people whom i hang out with. believe me! they do like to talk smart a lot, and Zoicite is the perfect match for her, not just because he is the knight of healing, where she also wants to be a doctor. a shy serious Ami, to a playful, Cheerful Zoi. that could balance her out!
as for Neph and Jupiter. i think that in the Manga and crystal, that Neph is not into astro whatever. his power consist of more with his shadows. in episode 4, and 5, also, i believe that they have the most exciting to look at. Jupiter is fierce on the outside, and physically strong even in her human form, but a a gentle flower on the inside, and her personality is different in the manga and crystal as well. so... i could tell he could comfort Jupiter and bring out the best in her. Neph could be hot headed, or impulsive, but i think the only female who could tame him is Jupiter at the same time which could balance them out. i think this is the couple who could be hot and passionate for each other. judging that Jupiter is also a fierce woman at the same time. i honestly think Neph could be the first to fall inlove with her physically, and emotionally, etc. , i also don't believe Jupiter is boy crazy, hopefully, its not like that here, if you are basing crystal and manga. and she is more prone to be shy due to being having no experience being asked out before because of her strength, and for being tall for her age at 14 (even though her height is not even super tall, but just right). she is the perfect match for him, with his height, and build. i could see this two eloping in no time in silver Mill. he is the perfect knight and shining amor for Mako. I think Neph is interested and find Jupiter attractive in the manga and Crystal for many hints that is already there. just like how Jadeite is with his own senshi in crystal and manga. i believe Jupiter and Mars was given more scene in crystal. that's why i could write more about them in this review. also my explanation towards Jup/Nep is pretty long due to i believe everyone seems to already explored and predict Mars/Jadeite relationship background more. when Jupiter/nephrite also has scene in crystal. and i also still think Jadeite should be playful, but patient at the same time. not boring.
i also believe that Jupiter should be the one who should be more distant along with mars, not venus in my opinion. judging by crystal and manga episode where Mars and Jupiter prominently eliminate their perspective partner, before turning to stone, but in the scene where Naoko change her story in the Crystal, where the shitennou's live were prolonged, it does not matter, since the scenario is still the same that Mars and Jupiter scene are more prominent when it comes to the shitennou/senshi. whether crystal or manga. Mercury has a small scene, but many scene with Zoi in another part where Naoko is involved. and for Venus supposedly perfect scene, at chapter 10 though... well... it would surely suks more for the venus/kunzite first pick fan on the list about the shitennou/senshi nevertheless loving all of the pairings, cause Kunzite did even mentioned her name. I guess, Naoko did wanted to originally kill all the senshi along with their lovers.
Venus and Kunzite. i think it says it all... she is the opposite of Kunzite seriousness... Venus could balance Kunzite. and at the same time, he could be the hottest shitennou with his age, and with his maturity. Venus and Kunzite are both leaders, and i also think they really fit each other. Venus could tame him... i could picture many drama scene between this two, like Kunzite would show more of his feelings toward Venus, they remind me of this one anime, where she is the playful, cheerful one, and the one who acts like Usagi kind of way, and the guy was the more serious one.. and this girl would think that he does not care about her, when he does love her a lot, due to him being more matured. if you asked me, he seems like a type of guy who is also like jadeite, who is also patient at the same time, but he could be more matured, and more serious. but i believe she won't be avoiding him at the first meeting. nevertheless its your story... so its okay if that's what you wanted to happen. i just thought of this, cause you are following the manga.
hopefully i didn't wrote anything offensive. just an opinion.
i would still love to read more. those comments are just friendly tip... just in case you might used it in your other stories for the shitennou/senshi, even if its not this story, i still want you to update. hopefully you will... i wanna see where this goes. thank you .

i think even if Jadeite is the most patient, he is still playful like Zoicite. like in crystal. where Rei sense Usagi being dragged by Jadeite.

actually Venus is the more willing to forgive the shitennou. mars and Jupiter has more scars about dealing with the shitennou if we think about it, they did killed their former lovers, even though Mars had help from Moon and Mercury, she is still the one who finished him (in the manga). Jupiter is not that boy crazy as she looks, but just longing for a family due to being an orphan, and judging by how she encounter things, she seems to be more shy, due to being the girl who isn't always being asked out, for being taller than most of the guys her age. or would just think of her as an older sister. personally, i think she is somewhat like Ami, who would rather be shy. i think Mars and Jupiter has more scene in Crystal when it comes to the shitennou. it seems that there are many hints from the two of them when it comes to their shitennou, you did get mars background, and i think you understand her, but i also hope you get Jupiter's background right as well. Mercury has a few scene in the Crystal with Zoicite, so that's one of the reason why i can't write a thing much about her if this is base on the Crystal episode, but i could base her in the musical (where Naoko helped out though), where she has more scene with Zoicite, and where i find out that Jupiter was somewhat shy, and was not used to talking to any guys. also, Venus was the only Senshi who talked to Kunzite before all the shitennou was killed (crystal scene). although i liked what you did, when she said that she can handle it as a leader without any help. In the musical though, Venus has more scene with Kunzite, and i think she is the first one who has more memories of the past than the other Scouts, and if we are going to base this on Crystal that is, i think what i wrote is accurate. sorry, i know its your story. but i need to share my thoughts. i would really love to read something that everyone is a spot on. but if not, its okay. i still understand. you can write in your description though who is the senshi you are going to center more, just in case, but no worries at all. i still love all the senshi/shitennou. i will still give this a go, and read what is going to happen next. i also hope you will include that Jadeites power is more of a freezing or ice... Nephrite's power is actually more of using his shadow, but i can't tell what his other power are like how they portrayed Jadeite's freeze element of attack, and how he cross dressed like Zoicite. well about Zoicite, he does disguised and cross dress like Neph, where i also cant pinpoint his power skills, as well as Kunzite. to the three of the shitennou actually. i could remember where Kunzite attacking Venus in episode 10 Crystal. but i still can't tell what kind of power element is that.

That fish... In any case I really liked the interactions between Ami and Zane. I have always had this assumption that Mercury and Zoisite probably had the "cutest" romance so their conversation and Zane's keenness to plays into that headcanon I have. I look forward to reading more.

I almost thought I'd missed a chapter when I first started this one. I see that you came back and filled in the scenes, but it threw me for a loop at first.

Interesting touch to the story with the family background. Those subtle hints about Amy's mom... is she having an affair? Also, the strained mother/daughter relationship that was shortly hinted at in the anime as well, nice to see it developed in this fic.

Also, Zane is so adorable, presenting himself so properly to his possible future mother in law! :))

Interesting twist with the Usagi-Chibiusa boby swap. In the anime I found Chibiusa to be such a useless and annoying character but your style of writing seems to make her slightly more tolerable.
