Hermione and all the unwed witches and wizards should petition or riot the law. The law only mentions what is 'EXPECTED' of everyone, with a trip to Azkaban for a year if they commit adultery, but it doesn't mention punishments if people flat out REFUSE to go along with the law OR whoever the ministry picks for them if they are not already engaged to someone else. The ministry really think ANYBODY is going to WILLINGLY go get married just because the government says so, if the parties DON'T want to get married? So whats the punishment for flat out refusing to take part in the law? *lol*
