Nice story, the line "I swear to god you Marines will screw anything with a pulse" cracked me up.
I don't get the last part. Did they not see each other for 30 years? If so, that's bit too much.

This was a fun little short and the part with the doctor was just gold on so many levels, right down to the hands-off 'who you sleep with is your problem.'

And with attitudes like that sergeants would likely explain the climate towards humans at the start of ME1.
