I really like the present time/flashback/present time structure of the chapters, it gives like..back story and reasons at the same time. The way in which Chris and Jim understand each other is great and just the last part about Admiral Barnett, it breaks my heart for Chris.

I loved the lake story. I like Max a lot. Poor Bones. Also, wtf is wrong with Winona?

SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED! I can't get a grip. Are they going to get John? Is Jim really that afraid of Kor's sister? Will Chris resolve his secual tension over watching Jim fight? So many questions.

I liked Richard, damn it! I'm liking this 'Marcus-is-not-as-shady-as-in-the-movie' thing. That John is in line with eugenics and such things is very interesting, as his movie character was kind of...familiar with it? I'm not sure I'm making sense (note that I can't hate John Harrison after reading your other stories about him and Jim). Ahhh! Chris and Jim in the same ship! I just hope they don't go get themselves in trouble.
