I love this idea-it may be the only IY/Avengers crossover that actually involves the Avengers being superheroes without a romance or Kagome being related to them somehow (the reason I hate the former is because it's nearly always poorly written, and IY and Kagome deserve to be together; the latter is complicated). The Avengers are all written very in character, as are Inuyasha and Kagome (also, grown Shippo-please let him be the badass I knew he had the potential to be!), and the whole plot seems exciting. But the chapters are a bit short-drabble-length, in fact. That tends to cause the story to get interrupted to frequently, which can mess up the "flow" of it. Try combining two of your usual length chapters into one chapter. Also, you might want to make less run-on sentences. All those long paragraphs made up of statements linked by commas seem awkward; try separating some of those into separate sentences. All in all, though, it's miles better than many other fics out there-keep going, I want to see what comes next! |
