The other person was wrong though, the more correct term is Gary Stu. It describes your character perfectly. He's superior in Luffy in every way, better swordsman than Zoro, more durable than him and Sanji, has a power that doesn't belong, trained by Whitebeard, etc.. I could go on and on.

I'll say as well that canon following is just unoriginal. There's no major changes that I've seen whatsoever. You've literally copied scenes from detail down to dialogue in the manga/dub.

Another problem was how you wrote the relationship. It's literally a never ending back and forth of:
"ok they're together"
"no wait no they're not"
"never mind, see how they love each other"
"wait no, they now hate each other's guts"
"made up now, they're a couple"
And you say this would've continued this until *after* the time skip? Jesus. There's a difference between slow-burn and whatever you were doing.

Another was how much of a condescending ass he was. I don't need to explain this. The "rules/laws of anime"? What the fuck was that? Why does he have to mock the series itself to its own characters?

The next is my favorite. How old were you when you wrote this? 13? Were you single as well? It seemed that you had to be desperate to do the "every female wants to fuck my oc" trope. I honestly believe that this entire fanfic is your self insert story/fantasy. Wish fulfillment is quite the strong suit of yours.

Last is one that puzzles me: the popularity. I've seen your profile on DeviantArt. The drawings you've done. The ones you've commissioned. And even most bizarre, the rather large amount of gift art that somehow kept popping up. Out of all the stories at the time, this was the one to get fan art, of course you paid for most of them, but still. People really love their wish fulfillment, don't they.

That's all I feel like saying. If it hasn't been clear, I'm not a fan of you. I'm very glad you're gone and your Gary Stu/obvious self-insert story will never be continued. In the off chance you do feel like returning, consider this; it took you six years to reach this point. Think how long it'll take to even get to the timeskip.

Mate, I understand how it can be difficult to find time to write when your busy with work and your personal life, but that doesn't mean you should just give up. Your stories are some of the best I have ever seen on this site, every chapter just drawing you in. And now, you have crushed the hearts of so many of your fans.

I'm not saying you should update every few days or weeks like most others. I'm just saying that if you ever have a little time to yourself, you could slowly make touches on the story. Many other authors do the same, like Ultimate10 or Theboblinator.

Just please, reconsider abandoning all this.

One less shitty Gary Stu story in the world.
