I was heartbroken when Monty died. People like you give me hope that the RWBY Fandom won't succumb to nonsense and Mary Sues.

I am sad to say that i only discovered Rwby two weeks ago. But i have read up on Monty and what he was like and I can tell you one thing. This would have made him happy.
