This was an exciting, uplifting read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and love the thought of Steve as some kind of guardian angel for Danny.

I loved this story, especially Steve pressing all the right buttons to get Danny's attention. Everyone knows Steve would do anything for Danny or Grace! I would love to see what you could do with episode 3x08 Wahine'inoloa (the murdering "psychiatrist" lady)! There are so many good stories there - both in the episode and possible backstories for Steve - and so few people seem to write for that one.

For a future story, how about an AU for the 100th episode. Instead of Steve being taken, Wo Fat took Danny instead? Make Steve choose between the "brothers". Just a thought!
