Reviews for Moments of Silence
Karin1 chapter 1 . 1/13/2003
I really liked your story. It's very sweet and a wonderful take on how Sara might learn the truth about Grissom's hearing. The part that Grissom kept on talking to her on the phone was really sad and the beginning (that Grissom waited for his hearing to return) also very frightening. I loved the end. I think the line "Where are we going?" "I don't know, we'll have to figure that out," perfectly described Grissom and Sara's 'relationship'. Great job!

Good job with this. It's a neat take on how Sara might learn re; the hearing, and in general, what it might...provoke. Good insights and some unexpected elements, too. Nice work!
Duckfeat chapter 1 . 12/5/2002
This was sweet and eerie at the same time. Loved it. Write more soon.
WashDCChick chapter 1 . 12/4/2002
That was wonderful. I loved the situation and how it played out, especially the hug, and Sara leading Grissom by the hand to her Tahoe. Very enrossing and very sweet.
Midnight Caller chapter 1 . 12/4/2002
I don't think I've ever felt so sorry for Grissom as I did when he called Sara and just kept talking, hoping she had picked up - that was a really effective way to draw empathy from the reader. Good job!
Jane Doe chapter 1 . 12/3/2002
My favorite part: "would you just give me a hug?". I loved it so much I wish I could hug you for writing . Anyway now that you think I am psycho (sleep deprivation & starvation really) I better just shut up.

CSIRMT chapter 1 . 12/3/2002
WOW - nice story. I love for these things to go on...and this one has a lot of possibilities...but I think this one is a great stand alone, too.

The best line I've read all day... "Where are we going?" Grissom asked. "I don't know, we'll have to figure that out."

That's what G/S are all about...great story!
