Hi. I read this story from cover to cover and loved it - loved Aria. Is there any chance we’ll get a sequel? I want to know who she is, and why Saint Dane reacts to her in this way. Please?

Did you forget about this? *Cries.* This story is amazing, and I keep rereading my favorite parts.. I've even been writing my own version, (Only for myself, of course.) Great story and... may Saint Dane live on!

ok so somehow I didn't see this update. but I have now.

I also really like how Aria tells Jani everything. It's really in character for her.

i had a couple issues with this story:

one, the new girl felt a bit too designed to be likeable. from her descriptions it seems like she is just good at everything and has a pack of bullies who don't like her so the audience does like her. Why do the resident Mean Girls (TM) have it out for her? What are her weaknesses?

The other problem was that the plot just feels far too similar to the original plot of the first book to be really interesting. Some locations have changed but we're still having the inexperienced youngster bumbling through Denduron again. zzz

Yaayyyy! You're back! This is such a great chapter, I'm so happy this story is up and running again. I love imagining Saint Dane with a backpack tied to his face and being ruthlessly attacked by two people smaller than him, getting kicked in the crotch and stuff. I might just have to draw out that scene, haha.

I had honestly thought that you had given up on this story. And I was so sad. But now I'm happy :)
The fight scene in this one made me laugh, It's great that she missed and the 'incredulous' "how did you miss" made it hysterical. I also really liked that you made her save Jani, as it shows a compassionate side to her. Like even if others are cruel to her she's still going to save them. It sets up a really good instance of foreshadowing, whether you meant it or not, where she's going to try and save Saint Dane even though he's an asshole to her.
Also the scenes where you make Saint Dane appear as a raven are really good read ins to the story as well. It just seems like he's extremely curious about her, and after the chapter where he visited Press (I don't remember which one that was sorry) like he's questioning why they chose her. It will be really rewarding when he finally recognizes her spirit and realizes why they chose her.

I really like this story! Normally I don't go for the whole 'Saint Dane is back, new generation of travelers must save the day, blah blah blah' thing, but there's just some thing about the characters you've made and the way you write that makes me love this story so much!

I am sorry oh my. I'm going to do this now so I don't forget again, but it might be a bit shorter than usual due to time constraints.
Aria is the perfect contrast from the origional characters. I don't remember if I touched on this in my past review, but many people struggle to maintain that difference between canon and original characters. Furthermore their original characters can appear boring if they are different. You have struck the balance perfectly, and it really shows once Aria begins to undergo some of the situations that Pendragon does. Your original characters are both brand new and exciting to follow, which makes this a really refreshing read. I'm really excited to meet more of your original characters, in particular Pendragon's successor. Pendragon always strives to be this strong character in the books, which makes me think he would just pick this huge douchebag. Couple this with the fact that his whole purpose it to fight and that Saint Dane thinks he's a somewhat worthy opponent? I don't think he'll have a peaceful bone in his body. Don't judge me if this is wrong lol.
I love your little sections of Saint Dane, they shed so much light on his character. I imagine that as this story progresses and Aria begins to achieve her goal, these little sections will show that. That is great for us because otherwise we won't know what is going on there. Right now though, your characterization of Saint Dane is flawless. It's gotten to the point where I am literally so excited for Saint Dane to talk to anyone because I love your portrayal. I think that while yes it strays from the book a little, the slight changes make perfect sense due to what happened to him.
Alder! I'm sure this is a good thing for those who actually remember him from the books. I need to reread badly.
Aria used to birdwatch. I am dying. I don't know of you put this in intentionally or not, but this has so much potential to be used as symbolism or foreshadowing and now I want to know if it is but I don't want to get spoilers from you. *dies
I think I spoke to you about Aria seeming slightly Mary Sueish. You have completely fixed this problem. It now makes perfect sense why you gave her these traits. I really like how you've characterized (I think that's a word!) her to be seemingly peaceful from the start. Her talent of understanding, which you portrayed in her ability to understand languages first try, is an amazing trait for her to have considering her future goal.
Your world building is also amazing. I really like how you've put it in an era that is familiar to us, because it makes us feel more connected to the story due to our past knowledge. However, unlike many people you did not copy the exact same plot as the books to achieve this goal, which is amazing.
This truly feels like I am reading a sequel to the Pendragon books which was written by the original author. I love your interpretation of all the characters displayed so far. Please continue writing this so I can continue reading it!

Wonderfully vivid! A completely absorbing beginning to the story that left me wanting to see where this would go.

Very nice story so far. I like the idea of two special travelers to replace the others, each a different plan.
