-Ah, I see we’re getting to see some of CS’s first moments back on the Jolly Roger after he got it back. Nice!
-I like Killian’s remembered daydream—of taking Emma and Henry sailing, and maybe of some other little ones joining them.
-Poor Emma! Her insecurities and fears about being left are welling up again. Of course WE know that Killian would never leave her—even from the sea—but after all the trauma she’s experienced throughout her life, it’s perfectly in canon for her to not be so sure.
-I like how quickly he picks up on what’s bothering her. I like the way he reassures her, letting her know in no uncertain terms that she and Henry (and maybe a few other little ones) are his crew; the ones he absolutely needs with him if he ever sets sail again.
-Oh, so romantic—Killian talking about how he thought the Jolly was what he needed in the lost year, only to realize that Emma was his home, and he’d never really had one before her!
-And then she finds the famous red vest and it brings back memories of that back in time adventure. I do wonder, like Killian, just how far she would have let that “tryst” continue if Killian hadn’t punched himself out.
-So Emma’s very much fascinated (and turned on) by his hand movements as well. Quite convenient, lol.
-And then things to get steamy really fast, so I’ll have to leave it at that, but I really enjoyed all the genuine emotion of the first half!
