Loving the story. Great premise. Wondering how you going to do the alley scene and reunion. Is he going to be a little more hardcore or more sympathetic? I gots to know.

This is super cringy

Fantastic work. It felt a little fast, but not enough to be a concern. I like how it kinda ties into the earthborn history shepard option and sets him up for a military life and akuze. Can't wait to see where this goes next and how his reunion with Tali will go.

Damn this is a great story

Honestly, it is a good piece to read as an AU fanfic. It's the perspective of what if Shepard was raised by another race. Also, i ship Tali and Male Shepard almost exclusively, so you sold me there. It also sets a precedent of why Rael would not like Shepard dating Tali, as is mentioned when she gets drunk in game 3. Honestly, i would like to see what you would do for a second chapter or a continuation of this as a whole. If it continues as such, I think it would be quite enjoyable.

I really like this new take on Mass Effect, but Shiv/Shepard seems to be a bit of a Gary Sue, then again, Shepard is a bit of a Gary Sue to begin with. I'm also curious about how he'll become the captain of the Normandy.
