Love how you've kept them the same, except now they're just more lovey-dovey with each other. I like the idea of the two of them just being partners. Can't really imagine Sherlock Holmes enjoying his own wedding... Nice incorporation of Sholto and the Mayfly Man. Love how you provided a different set of reasons how the Mayfly Man got John's middle name. It's one of the most creative plots in the show, and I love how you revised it for your own purposes. And of course, it ends with the two of them about to embark on another case. Just as it should be. Fanastic job! Once again, I'll miss this one dearly! Take care of yourself! xo |

As much as I love how Sherlock kills him in that moment to protect John, I do like how no killing is involved here! Mycroft handling the situation sounds like a better idea... Johnlock bliss. | MelodyOfSong526 chapter 41 . 10/25/2015 Was expecting more of a transition from the last chapter before this one. Chapter 40 ended with Sherlock's father questioning his son about what he was doing, and this chapter starts off with Sherlock and John heading to Appledore; I was expecting this chapter to start off with them still at Sherlock's parents' house. Or at least a bit more of a transition into this one. All in all, I really like what you've done with the Appledore scene! It's a twist of what they did in the show, but once again, you've made it work for your storyline! Love seeing Sherlock's thought process right before he decides to kill Magnussen. Although you can see the thoughts cross his mind in the show, it's nice to actually delve around in them with a fic. Great job! |

I like how they've established things between them. It's not a fluffy sort of "getting together", so it works really well. Interested to see how Sherlock handles the situation! Great job! |

The beginning of this tale had me holding my breath-didn't quite see how John would survive. Sherlock's emotional reactions which Donovan finally bares witness and has her realize he does feel-just private about it was well done. John's rejection of Sherlock after his escape and time in the hospital...whew! You had me worried...Brilliantly done! Thank you! |
