Thank you for this fanfic! I really love how you write the first few chapter with an apathy of humanity. I always thought the decision of Cole nature to be one of the hardest in the game, so seeing how i truly felt on writing form made me feel connected if that make sense.

Also, the story is really nice. Not pandering too much with exposition but give the insight more with "show don't tell" which to me, giving the all characters pain feel more real. i genuinely dont know if the character will come out alive after that turmoil but i'm glad it is a happy ending in the end.

And the way you wrote Cole as Despair . . . the way he casually broke down their deepest fears and insecurities gave me chills. Cole really would make a terrifying demon, not just with his supernatural powers, but because he understands human suffering more than most demons ever could.
