Beautiful story :) love your lore explanations
Mathelete73 chapter 10 . 7/30
I know it's been many years, but I hope you write a third one. Maybe with a time jump. We know Palpatine has followers, Tarkin probably among them, and they are hiding somewhere in the galaxy with Dooku (who was probably burned and put in a cyber suit). They could still build the death star, although they might not have as many workers as in canon, so it would either be weaker or take much longer to complete. No doubt its first target would be Coruscant in an effort to wipe out as many Jedi as possible. Would Dooku still try to betray Palpatine? Or would his mechanical suit ensure that he knows his place, just like Vader?

I feel like you have set up enough to continue with the OT, with some minor adjustments (no Empire, just a secret society of Sith worshippers). The odds are definitely more in the good guys favor, although if the Death Star destroys Coruscant, that could change the tides.

So even the Sith Code forbids attachment?
Mathelete73 chapter 8 . 7/16
Wow...I was going to say Anakin's actions in chapter 6 seemed out of character after everything Amira did for him. This is some Severus Snape level trickery!

3 guesses who that senator is? Um...let me guess...Bail Organa?
JK, we all know it's Padme.
Mathelete73 chapter 6 . 7/15
I just finished chapter 6. Why would Anakin stop Windu from killing Palpatine? What could Palpatine possibly have offered Anakin? He already decided that he would find a way for the Order to let him bend the Code so he could be with Amira. Was it simply because the Chancellor looked defenseless and weak, and it reminded him of when Dooku was at his mercy?
Edgeofdoom chapter 5 . 7/9
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
2562894620 chapter 7 . 5/5
The very nicely done twist was indeed vague enough to be seen through, at least not with certainty. I aplaud the most joyous occasion that Anakin and Amira are finally together. They have truly deserved it with the amount of pain and restrained that they have both exhibited.

I have a deep sense of disbelief currently. The turning, the betrayal, the characterization of Anakin, YOUR ANAKIN, was just so suddenly thrown out of the window that it feels surreal, as though it is a fever induced dream of some sort. The gaping hole that are suppose to be the transition of events and reasoning for actions is quite deep, so deep that I have no doubt that it will cause plenty to lose faith in you if the situation is not remedied, and immediately at that. I offer not these words in some feeling of seething furry or indignation but out of sheer incredulity and disbelief.

I really enjoyed this story, and was so happy for Anakin to have a happy ending! I binge read this and the prequel consecutively and I loved it! Thank you for writing this!

Liz chapter 10 . 4/14
Okay . . . I have only one way to describe how I feel about this story. . .

I LOVE IT! This is by far the best anakin/oc story I have found and I haven't been able to stop reading it. I just keep going and going and going like I'm an energizer bunny. Lol.

My only complaint, I think, which is more of just my personal preference, is that I would have liked to see them years in the future, telling us how their life turned out, about all their kids (potentially grandkids). A sort of epilogue, to end it all it you're not planning on continuing. But that's just me.

Anyway, lovely story, and now I'm going to look at your other stories.

Love, Liz

Willowdove chapter 10 . 2/13
I really appreciate your writing, I thought the OC you built was believable and engaging, Anakin’s character progression was similarly compelling, and the relationship was absolutely adorable.

I was hoping, given that this was an OC/ pairing, that we wouldn’t see any Anakin/Padmé (because the age difference is squicky and it’s my least favorite part of canon) but when it was there it wasn’t too distracting

I thought you had an opportunity to use Dooku in an interesting way once he was betrayed by his master and released back unto the world. He could have been on his own side fighting to defeat Palpatine. But I do like the end battle with him, and that there were consequences to the main characters’ inexperience when dueling with a master of sabercraft.

I would also have liked to see the Order reform their stance on romantic love, but it made sense for the institution to instead make exceptions and stipulations.

I think overall my only major note was that Anakin’s entire character became hinged on the power of a woman to reform him. Which takes away from his agency, and puts undue pressure on both Amira and Padmé. Obviously the power of love can inspire one to change for the better, but it’s up to the individual to recognize their faults and put in the work. It’s not up to the woman to “be strong”, which is a trap that I felt like this story slipped into a few times.

Overall, a very fun read, and I can tell a lot of work and heart was put into this. Thank you so much for sharing!
