| THE DARKEST OF THEM ALL chapter 1 . 6/9/2017 The court of owls theory is correct. The story goes like this: A long time ago a family of three arrive at Gotham. They are William Cobb and his parents. After some time the dad dies and they lose all their money and William who is around 15 starts working in the streets. He does magic tricks with balls until one day a thief steals an old mans bag and William reacts by throwing one of his balls and hitting the thief in the head. The old man thanks him and invites him to work at haly's circus and he accepts. What he doesn't know is that the circus has been providing talons for the court for centeries . Several years laser William falls in love a rich dudes daughter and they become lovers before the dad tells that Gotham is like chess. The white are the noble,rich and powerful while the black are the poor. And then he kicks him out. The court find him and he becomes their talon. He comes back a year later to find the girl with his infant son. He takes the son and brings him to Haly to raise with his own son. He calls the kid the Gray Son of Gotham because they are neither black nor white and leaves him there until one of his descendents is ready to become talon. And dick grayson is chosen to become the next talon the Gray Son of Gotham. Until of course he is taken in by Bruce wayne. |
