I havent ever read any dragon age story.i dont understand half of words but its just the story that kept me captivated.

U make sure never to change the whole behaviour of character. There was these bitz in which u can totally mske the story mushy n fluffy(which i love dearly) but u kept the practicality of story.
Killian using drug in the beginnig.
their sacrifices n their choices.
i never thought she will leave henry but tht just shows how much u had think through this story.
I enjoyed reading ur story it was bitter sweet story with a perfect open ending.

I love this story more than I can say. As kind of tragic as it it, it's beautiful and perfect in how love helped them two live a little a life they dreamed of but wouldn't have otherwise. You did an amazing job writing it! :)

I really should be writing an essay right now but nO I forgot to review the ending of this wonderful fic so obviously this is the best time to write that review before I forget again.

I think I've already run out of compliments for this fic; it's just so beautiful and angsty and ugh. The Henry part makes me so sad, but tHAT ENDING. NO. NOT OKAY.

Though in all honesty, I think ultimately agree with the decision to have a bittersweet ending; just the way the tone and setting of the fic were going, there was no way it was going to be a pure "happily ever after" ending. I'm just so glad they got to be together for the time that they did (even though they had to give up Henry alskdj;jh'a wHY would you do that to my heart) and that they found home with each other.
Amazing fic, it was great to follow it from beginning to end!

I got behind, and when I came back to the story, you had finished it! I couldn't stop reading, and just went barrelling through it - so now I have just one longer review to leave - but I'll try to make it worth your while!

It's truly beautiful that Killian stays with Emma when they are at last reunited, and that she simply and wordlessly understands and accepts him as he is now: maimed, haunted, sick. Her love can't heal all of his wounds, but it isn't changed by his fall and it bring him some peace and joy at last. I was especially touched when Emma found him crouched against the wall and tried to hold him together, falling asleep on the floor with him.

Killian's guilt over feeling that he simply put Emma in a different prison is completely understandable, but it makes me ache for him taht he's taking even more pain and blame upon himself. The fear of her receiving her calling and meeting a horrible end hit me doubly hard by reacting to it through him.

I understand the effort to find a happy ending - and I DO wish they could have stayed there in the little village with Henry - but I also see why it could not be. This was never an easy journey for either Emma or Killian; you prepared us for an ending that would not be all roses and sunsets. I am glad they had those last years together though, and even if it was bittersweet to see them both going to meet their end, I am glad Kilian wasn't left behind. That he "went with her" was really a pretty perfect and fitting end for this story, regardless of where it was she had to go.

I'm so happy that Killian is finally happier than he has ever been, but now I feel so badly for Emma because she only has another decade at most to live. It makes me sad. Such a sad and happy chapter at the same time. You have done such a great job with this story.
