I really enjoy A & W having a future together. Yet how you got them here in this story slid both characters as well as Will's mother into OOOOOOOC category so far that for me it took the positive punch out of getting A & W together. To hurry a finish just to end a story quickly doesn't feel good enough for you to me. Sob...

I don't think I reviewed this chapter yet sorry for the delay. I just love it when Owen shows up! I have to ask though, did Will sleep with his neighbor who made that last comment? If so, and Alicia finds out she will probably kill him! Can't wait for your next chapter!

You note here again Alicia character's inner long years battle for their marriage development, and now, not only feeling duped by Peter, but also that vulnerable duping of herself and her lack of skills leading into a false principled reality. How can she trust herself now? I like your ponder on this more authentic Alicia. We each have those self questions within us in life. Dwelling and see such in other helps us all to grow if we have that door open. That's what I like about your plotting. Loved your little Owen trickery to get Alicia to go to Will. Cute implausible play. Continue your persevere. And please, don't forget the depth you've toned in this story.

I loved this chapter! Alicia may have been tired and had some wine but I think she let out her true feelings. "I don't want this" may only be 4 words, but the meaning behind those words is very significant. Nice job! I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Wine and fatigue I think more often have those inner disciplined "brakes" and self controls to lessen or fail. You well wrote Alicia's emotional honesty and truth undisguised as she revealed to Peter her image interpretation resulting from Peter's past behaviors. Your plot released her truth which lead to her over powering feeling of explosive freedom's release...and Will's arms at the ready. Quite a rapid resolve to pent-up intense unfulfilled marriage. Loved the way this trip to Baltimore has begun for A & W. Didn't really get into Alicia's dating game with the 3 men...she's a bit old for that kind of a play. Think your Kalinda visit denoting Alicia's need to make her choice and get on with it was so on point. I'll be more anxious for your plot developments during these Baltimore working/playing experiences. Really like that they are not in Chicago and more isolated with each other. Good luck with your computer problems. That surely increases difficulties unless you're willing to reach for that old reliable paper and pen until a computer creeps back your way.
