I don't get how Jedi do NOT form attachments. Padawan and Master? Isn't that an attachment?

When I first read this, I imagined the reason Amira had difficulty meditating was because of the Chancellor. She was close to sensing his dark presence, so he had to put extra effort masking it, hence she senses darkness everywhere and cannot pinpoint the origin.

I remember when I first dated my girlfriend, and she was totally like Anakin. She wouldn't accept criticism from her dad, and I just didn't want to get in the middle of it because I was afraid of what would happen if I chose a side.

I already read both stories, but did not create an account until the second story was almost done. So I decided to go back and leave some comments.

First, I think Anakin was right that protection was overkill, but he could have been more polite. It's okay to disagree with a superior, but you need to explain your side of the argument, otherwise it just comes off as arrogance. So Obi-wan was right to send Anakin back to the temple.

As for Amira...oh my god I was waiting for this kind of story. A long time ago, I imagined a fanfiction where Anakin would fall in love with a female Jedi, and their first meeting would be her beating him in a duel. It's hard coming across any Anakin x OC Jedi fanfics despite extensive google searching, so I was so lucky to come across this.

I am glad you emphasized that her abilities in the force were noobish, so she's not a Mary Sue like Rey.

This was a most profound story that has changed my view on OC/cannon character relationships not only for the Star Wars franchise but for fanfiction in general. Before I had viewed them as something akin to self-fulfilment or self-insert stories, not the best side of fanfiction as the limited amount of those stories, self-fulfilment and self-insert stories, that I have glimpsed were all characterized by poor grammer, non-exsistant plot, and little respect to cannon material. This story has changed my view significantly. Your OC Amira is very much lovable as any of the cannon characters from Star Wars, her relationship with Anakin was well thought out and expressed in your writing, facing their own share of hardships and unqiue experiences. On a side note that is related though not entirely so due to my main message about how your OC/cannon character relationship and its effects on me, despite the limited appearance of Neeva she has left quite an impression on me, a respectable jedi both wise and honorable and a caring person as well, justifiably looked up to and followed by Amira.

PS. I would love to see how Ashoka and Anakin's apprenticeship would turn out with the changes that Anakin underwent, if they even have an apprenticeship anymore. And also the possible reactions of the cannon varient of the cast reacting to this changed Anakin.

Loved this story, started chapter one yesterday and immediately got hooked and couldn't stop reading! Now, I'm on to the second book!

I've read this story a few times over and am reading it again. This series and your series with Spock are like old friends I can pull up on my phone and have a cup of coffee with anytime I like
