I love this fic but I just can't stand the fact that kairi is being used like a tool,come on you two love birds get together and be happy and leave the good kairi out of this mess!

Wellllllll, I just spent 3 hours reading this and...

OH MY GOD!
It's been so long, I've read every fanfiction on this site for SoRiku... (This is not a exaggeration, literally all of them...) and it's amazing to see a new one finally arrive, let alone it be amazing. I personally didn't think Riku was right until he and sora began to get together again and thought that was perfect in demonstrating his lack of mental coherence (maybe I'm over analysing, English students for you...) your writing was brilliant and the characters perfect. Personally I don't really like Kairi, I see her as the evil keeping SoRiku from reality, but here I could cope... You were killing me with that SorKai however. Anyway, as it was your first and I LOVED it soo much, I just had to review. The AkuRoku was perfect, Sora and Riku's eventual get together was perfect... It was perfect and comes in on some of my favourite stories in close second only to Track Season by The Wykkyd... Anyway, I loved it, your style fits perfectly and the plot came to a natural close and followed a natural progression, you didn't push it which was brilliant. I might ask only one thing of you, and that is that you keep writing, it's so hard to find good soriku anymore because nobody writes it anymore...
On a small side note, I saw you like Slashapalooza... Oh my god! She's brilliant, that one where Riku sleeps with Sora for a dare and gets it on film, Love on a Rotten Day it was... I find it terrible it was never finished, Slashapalooza is the only other writer khans reviewed and she's long gone from this site ...
Oh my god! This ended up being so long, sorry. Thanks for the story it was amazing and I look forward to reading more of your work and never forget to GET UP ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!

Well, this was an enjoyable read. :)

Just a few notes I wanted to point out: consistency is important, and I feel like there were a few hiccups where that's concerned. Hayner was Roxas' best friend in Twilight Town, right? But then suddenly he's at the dance at their school and Kairi is dating him? Not sure if I misunderstood, or Hayner grew a clone and sent it to Destiny Islands, lol.
Another I felt was in Riku's overall behavior. Especially with Sora's little freak-out accusation of Riku and following trip to the island. Riku seemed suddenly softer with his thoughts about loving Sora more than anything, and then later it looked like his thoughts turned around again. I understand he was being moody and all, but it was almost like he'd never had that more affectionate thought in the first place. Like he actually believed that he disliked Sora. And maybe he did, I'm not sure, and I could never quite get a hold on his actual stance. Overall I think his character was just kept a little more shallow than what the potential of this story calls for. Maybe you wanted to keep it lighter, but you could totally run away with this teen drama between them and really pull a heart-wrencher.

That being said, you're probably the first person to (a) make me actually be angry enough at Riku to dislike him, and (b) keep me interested in an AkuRoku arc. (I'm a loyalist, and really just want Sora and Riku so I'll often skip over parts with the other two, lol.)
That being said...again...I really kept rooting for Sora to actually get angry at Riku. He did once, but he was so quick to forgive him! And I understand that he loved him still, but Riku was an absolute ass! He turned into an actual bully! I feel like Sora should've had a few words about that to the guy who used to be his kindhearted best friend! Riku got off pretty much scott-free there and it's kinda bugging me still if you couldn't tell, lol.

Anyway, to wrap up this monster of a review, I'll tell you I wouldn't take the time to type all this out if I didn't like the story. You said this was your first fic? Good job! I'm just hoping to throw something into this review that can help you out, if even a little bit! :D

i love that song, mama sometimes tells me i sing like a nut cause i sing that song with a bunch of other songs as i do things around the house. and i think i was a fitting ending for this chapter! i liked it very much and im very glad that our couples r good together and all
